Dr. Wakefield was born in Sandersville, Georgia and grew up in Quitman, Georgia, where he was President of the Student Government, awarded the J.B. Stevens Award for Best All-Around Student, captain of the football team, and the recipient of numerous academic awards and scholarships. While attending Fort Valley State University, he was Drum Major for the “Blue Machine” Marching Band, member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society. At the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Wakefield was President of the Student National Dental Association. When not seeing patients, he can be found at weddings, churches, and Jazz clubs playing saxophone, or at charity golf tournaments.

Dr. Michael Tehrani

Prosthodontist

Dr. Michael Tehrani is a highly skilled prosthodontist specializing in advanced dental restoration and cosmetic dentistry. He holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX, and a certificate of prosthodontics from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, GA.

With expertise in areas such as dental implants, veneers, crowns, bridges, and dentures, Dr. Tehrani is committed to providing personalized, patient-centered care. He takes pride in restoring oral function, comfort, appearance, and health for his patients.

Dr. Tehrani is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Georgia Dental Association. He is dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in dental technology and treatments to deliver the highest standard of care.

Dr. David A. Lamothe

Cosmetic Dentist

Dr. Lamothe grew up in Marshall, Texas, the middle-born of five children. He attended Wiley College in his hometown, where he received his undergraduate degree in Biology, and The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Lamothe has been in the private practice of general dentistry in the Atlanta area for the past 35 years. Most recently, he transitioned to his Smyrna Dental and Headache Center in Smyrna, Georgia, where he now concentrates on Airway, Sleep, and TMJ treatment. He is dedicated to the newest advancements in Sleep Dentistry and Breathing Wellness.

Dr. Lamothe has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education courses and keeps up to date with the latest technologies.

Dr. Lamothe has been affiliated with the National Dental Association, the North Georgia Dental Society, the American Dental Implant Association, and the American Sleep and Breathing Academy over the years. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

When Dr. Lamothe is not practicing, he enjoys photography, golfing, reading, and saltwater marsh fishing. He is a widower and the proud father of two beautiful daughters and four grandchildren.
